A co-housing in Ghent that I bought, founded and have run since 2021. Part of that is practical: fixing the shower, doing the finances. Most of it is building the structures that make people live together rather than next to each other: house meetings, sharing circles, the small rituals that keep a group of adults a community.

Effective Altruism Ghent

Since 2025 I’m on the board of EA Ghent, where I host and co-organise workshops and lectures: Powerful AI is coming. How do we get it right?, Your Career as a Force for Good, and An Evening on Effective Giving. I’m also an ambassador for Effectief Geven, the Belgian GiveWell-style charity advisor.

Music events

• Pinnacle, Leuven (2014–2019): founded, managed, and played resident at a series of industrial techno nights.
• Zenevloed, Amsterdam (2017–2019): organised and managed experimental electronic music events.
• Self-employed DJ since 2012 at parties, raves, record stores and radio stations, including Kompass Klub, Urgent.fm and Red Light Radio.
