| 4 | Signalkuppe | 4554 | Switzerland / Italy | Monte Rosa. The Capanna Margherita on top is the highest building in Europe. |
| 5 | Annapurna Base Camp | 4130 | Nepal | Not a summit, but the amphitheatre is worth bending the rules for. |
| 6 | Ala-Kul Pass | 3860 | Kyrgyzstan | Above the turquoise Ala-Kul lake (3532 m) in the Terskey Alatau, near Karakol. |
| 7 | Mount Vesuvius | 1281 | Italy | Still active. Naples keeps an eye on it. |
| 8 | Los Gigantes | 600 | Spain (Tenerife) | Basalt sea cliffs straight out of the Atlantic. Elevation is the cliff top, give or take. |
